Fatal collision – Reading

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision in Grazeley, Reading, on 10 June.

At around 6.20pm, a white Volvo and a white Honda motorbike collided in Mereoak Lane.

The rider of the motorbike, a 25-year-old man, died at the scene. The pillion passenger, also a man aged 25, was taken to the JR2 Hospital by police helicopter suffering multiple fractures.

PC Mark Sanders, of Three Mile Cross Roads Policing base, said:

“I appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police immediately. The passenger of the motorcyclist remains in hospital in a serious condition.”

A man has been arrested following a fatal traffic collision in Grazeley, Reading, on 10 June. The 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed until 31 July pending further inquiries.
